Help me Guys and Gals; you're my only hope.

Here's the deal, I have worn my 2007-2008 Volz home jersey for every minute of the last 9 matches. Now I KNOW that what an old guy in Texas wears has nothing to do with what 11 guys he doesn't even know do in England. Yet, I haven't allowed HatterMom to even wash the thing. I do take it off as soon as the match is over and hit it with some Fabreze.

Anyhow, my concern is about the FA Cup match on Saturday. Should I wear it again and put our league streak in jeopardy? Should I keep it only for league matches and, in the process, doom us to lose to Wednesday?

That's the question: wear it tomorrow morning or leave it in the closet until our next league match?

This is a tough question Don. I think you have to wait until the starting eleven is announced to make your final decision. If Roy does not deviate from his normal starters, except for injury or illness of course, you should not deviate from you normal rites, rituals and customary game day attire. However, if Roy mixes up his roster and goes for something fresh then you should follow suit.

And I thought that smell was the Lion & Rose...now I know.

We're losing to Wednesday on Saturday so shelve the strip till the next EPL game. To break our woeful Cup streak I'd suggest trying something new.

Okay, here's my plan -- I'm going with BarryP. I'll check out the lineups about 0845. If we have our regular guys, I'll do the Volz. If we are "resting" folk, I'll get out my McBride shirt.

Oh, and while I know I don't really influence the matches, I know you'll all blame me when we finally lose.

    Dont wear it for Sheffield.

Also, I dont know about the Fabreze bit. It might accumulate on the shirt and make it loose its powers.

Don't wear it for Weds. Save it for the Prem. If our boys can't beat the Owls on their own, oh well. The Blackburn game is a definite must-have. Save it for then.
