The Finnish international has been linked with moves to a number of clubs already this summer - but The Cottagers look set to offer him fresh terms.

Niemi had a sensational season last term and new manager Lawrie Sanchez seems more than happy with his Scandinavian shot-stopper.

"Talks are on-going and I am pleased to say they are going well," his agent Richard Cody told skysports.com.

"Antti is happy at Fulham and so would be happy to sign, but we have to see how things progress - but as I said things are looking good."
