as of now, have to agree.

Pat's played great at home, Steelers got their bad game out of the way.

Either could beat Philly or Atlanta handily on the given day.

    errata:
Unless the Red Sox effect is still hanging around... then it would be Philly, wouldnt it!
Steelers and Crew colors are same... Crew did very well in season, punked out in the first big game.

    very true
the falcons are one dimensional- 350 rushing yards against the freakin rams
the eagles are without there big playmaker but i think they edge out the falcons and end the streak of losing the nfc championship game 3 years in a row
steelers are hard to beat at home but the pats seem to be clicking and corey dillion is being a beast
    who knows

I personally think Roethlisberger has a badly hurt wrist, ala Kurt Warner a few years ago. I do not think he can grip the ball and throw with power and accuracy like he could when he was healthy.

In addition, despite being on the road, the Patriots have an aura about them and they just do not lose big games. I saw an amazing stat that since 2001, the Patriots are now 14-0 when playing a team for the second time in a season. Bellichick will scheme the Steelers and I am thinking we will see a defensive struggle.

I think Brady's magic will continue this weekend and the Patriots will advance and beat the Eagles.

I agree with you ChicagoTom, I see the Pats going all the way.

The D will have a plan to stop the Bus and Staley, Manning will continue to dink and dunk the short passes, and Dillon will run and control the clock.

Also think Philly will finally advance.

getting bored of the patriots- but who is going to beat them? i thought the steelers had a chance- but ben r. was sailing balls last week (hurt thumb as chicago tom noted??) if steelers rookie qb is healthy then i'd give the steelers a good chance- but if he is not 100% the patriots win & play atlanta. with the pats winning again.

I dont really see Philly punking out again... they're gonna win.

I think Pats/Steelers are a tossup for all the good reasons above.

This may come back to haunt me, but I think Philly will not only win, but they will blow out the Falcons and Mike Vick. I say they will win by at least 14.

I think the Pats will win the Super Bowl.

I also have a feeling it will actually be a low scoring game.
