I can definitely recommend the following pubs as friendly to soccer fans:

    ATHENS GA, USA
My home town, with two pubs great for watching soccer:

    THE ROYAL PEASANT
    1675 S. Lumpkin Street
    Athens, GA 30606
    (706) 549-7920
    http://www.royalpeasant.com/

Games on all day, and early games are recorded and re-broadcast. GREAT pub food. Great friendly staff.

    THE GLOBE BAR
    199 North Lumpkin Street
    Athens, GA 30601
    Phone: (706) 353-4721
    http://www.classiccitybrew.com/globe.html

This is in downtown Athens. They have an upstairs with large screen TV's and couches. Big matches can draw good crowds of mixed international students / ex-pats from the University of Georgia (across the street).

    ATLANTA, GA

    THE BREWHOUSE CAFE
    401 Moreland Avenue
    Atlanta GA 30307
    Tel:(404) 525-7799
    http://www.brewhousecafe.com/

Big, enthusiastic, jersey-clad crowds. If you are in Atlanta and want to catch a match, this is THE place. Smoking is allowed in the bar, which may or may not endear you to it.

    CHATTANOOGA, TN

    HAIR OF THE DOG PUB
    334 Market Street
    Chattanooga, TN 37402
    Tel: 423.265.4615
    http://www.hairofthedogpub.net/

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Chattanooga. Two levels, outside seating, lots of TV's tuned to soccer & rugby.

    Cock 'N Bull Pub
    2910 Rosewood Dr
    Columbia, SC 29205
    (803)251-4474

English style neighborhood pub, with a great choice of imports on tap. Opens early for all of the games.

Kitty O'Shea's is awesome, although it can get a bit annoying when packed with ManU bandwagonners. Send me a message the next time you are headed that way!

I will. I'm out of town for the Portsmouth game on the 9th, but I will be in town for the Blackburn game on Saturday the 16th. If it's on TV live or close to live, I should be there.

The Brewhouse Cafe is where the Dirty Whites go (Terri, Jacob, myself, HarbordSteve when he's not in London, and more additions in the past year). If you're going to go, check their website as they have a listing of what games they'll be showing. Also, let us know so we can be on the lookout for you.

(The best environment was when we were about the same numberwise as the manure fans and were much louder than them)

The Midway Pub in East Atlanta
    552 Flat Shoals Road
    Atlanta, GA
    404-584-0335
    http://www.themidwaypub.com/

Brewhouse is where I go for EPL/ Fulham matches...for USMNT, I go to Midway Pub :)! I was there for most of the Confederations Cup matches last year and it was a great crowd. New place and not as crowded as Brewhouse. The owners really want to attract more soccer fans and the staff is very attentive.

Chris and I were there for the (free shots per USA goal) Confederations Cup match against Brazil ;). I was also there for most of the Euro Cup matches...
