Stupid Waste of $

I've always been respectful of the president on this site. I've always called him "the president" or "President Bush." So allow me this one slip. The biggest gusher of tax money in the history of the republic has, the lamebrain-in-chief has authorized the spending of $42 million to advise people that they're going to get a "Tax Cut" this spring.

Yep, the $600 extra dollars in taxable income that's going to cost us an amount equal to almost almost a week's worth of war in Iraq is going to cost $42m more so that they can send information through the mail -- like it hasn't been all over the news.

I know people are stupid, and I'm sure that there are people who'll throw away the check thinking its from Publisher's Clearing House -- but the man has all the TV & radio networks to broadcast everything he does for free, AND HE'S GOT EVERYONE'S EMAIL ADDRESS from his ISP-FISA connection. Emails are free George! For goodness sake; get SOME use out of them.

That $42 million is not yours, Mr. President; IT BELONGS TO HALLIBURTON. :twisted:
