Stockdale recalled from Hull

The article says it's because Etheridge is injured. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but does anyone else suspect it might really be due to Schwarzer's recent form?

Etheridge was "injured" when Jol repeatedly slammed his hand in the car door. At the least, Stockdale pushes Schwartzer to improve. Best case, he takes over as No. 1.

About freaking time!!! Give the kid a shot and see if he runs with it.

 

Totally agree to give him a shot because there are two words you hope to never use together about your man between the sticks...shaky keeper. He's a good keeper and has served the club well but we need to find out if Stockdale is a great keeper.

 

I would like to see Stockdale get enough time between now and the end of the season in order to determine whether or not we need to look for a new keeper over the summer.
