    10 ERIK NEVLAND
    11 ZOLTAN GERA
    12 DAVID STOCKDALE
    13 DANNY MURPHY
    14 EDDIE JOHNSON
    15 DIOMANSY KAMARA
    16 ALEXEY SMERTIN
    17 COLLINS JOHN
    18 AARON HUGHES
    19 PASCAL ZUBERBUHLER
    20 STEVEN DAVIS
    21 JIMMY BULLARD
    22 FREDRIK STOOR
    23 CLINT DEMPSEY
    25 SIMON DAVIES
    26 LEON ANDREASEN
    27 ADRIAN LEIJER
    28 ROBERT MILSOM

    31 DAVID HEALY
    33 TONI KALLIO
    34 CHRIS BAIRD

Thoughts that probably don't mean anything:
    * Diomansy usually wears 15 for Senegal, correct? He may have picked this.
    * I’m going to guess Seol only gets 7 because Simon Davies prefers 25.
    * Stockdale is on the bench, Zuberbuhler (19, first number after 11+7) is the 3rd keeper
    * Maybe Volz will get a chance to compete for RB after all

And Steve gets Macca's old number. I was wondering if Roy would let it lie fallow for a year.

Ha. No I knew that. But I thought earlier in the summer I saw something about him being named FFC captain.

Seems like I remember something too. It must have just been speculation.

when I was a VERY young lad in El Paso, Texas Western College [now UTEP] had an All-American halfback named Don Maynard who wore #13. Because of his first name, I kind of adopted the number. Yes, this is the same Don Maynard who made the NFL hall of fame as a wide receiver primarily with the NY Giants/Titans/Jets.

Occasionally, I'd have some coach who didn't want a #13 on his team, but most of the time, it was mine.

At the risk of hijacking, how did you and your Esposo decide on that number?

On my first team we had two numbers - one for away, one for home. I actually picked #12 for Dusty Baker, but #13 came along with it. I had a very memorable game in #13 so it became my number on later teams when we had only one number.

I'll have to ask my husband why he chose it.

Is anyone surprised that a bunch of Fulham fans also chose unlucky 13 for their #?
