Always a little late with the game threads. I blame it on transfer speculation.

Anyway Here's the Head to Head Fulham article:

Any guesses as to who we'll see in tonight's Cap One Cup? Is Frei healthy yet? Game time is at 2:45 EST, and I doubt we'll be able to find any streams. GJ might be our only hope for this one. BTW where is he located on the new Fulham Site?

Would think that everyone will get a run out, my guess is Hugo will get the start. Hard to get excited about an early Carling Cup match, but advancing would give those backups something to look forward to. I will add that Sheffield Wednesday has got to be at the top of the list of cool names for a football club.

EDIT: Apparently Carling is out as sponsor and it's now called the Capital One Cup

The rights to this Cup belong to BeinSport, right? Doubtful there will be a stream for this low profile a match, this early in the Cup. I'll be in the chatroom if there's either a stream or the ability to listen to the dulcet tones of GJ describing boot colors.

(Alleged) Team for the match: Schwarzer; Kelly, Hughes, Hangeland, Briggs; Kasami, Baird, Sidwell, Kacaniklic; Ruiz, Rodallega.

Subs: Stockdale, Riether, Halliche, Smith, Diarra, Duff, Trotta.

Resting the sr statesmen except for in the back. Not sure if all of those changes to the midfield is a great plan. This must mean Stockers is definitely on his way out via loan. I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet.

We have audio!! No streams from any of the usual suspects...no surprise there.

Audio at fulhamfc.com, click on match centre, then at the bottom on audio commentary. It defaults to text commentary.

Was hoping Stockdale would be penciled in to give aussie a breather. It's a long season. And Stockdale's pretty darn good.

Thank you for there not being any streams of this game. This game highlighted the lack of depth this team has. And if the Dembele off to Tottenham reports for 15m are true...I am not feeling very confident in our squad. Who knows Fulham play down to their competition, especially on the road.

Let's just pretend like this game never happend. It's probably for the best that there was no streams for this game.

Brutal game where, if I'm not mistaken, we had as many shots as yellow cards. And not shots on target mind you, but shots...total. We were owned in the midfield and when we did have possession we were unable to create chances in the final 1/3. What's most disappointing though is that after falling behind, we did very little and Wednesday dominated possession. While we couldn't see it, it sounded a lot like the first half against ManU.

And GJ really loathes the orange kits, for those who missed it.

Ugh- yeah the recap I read made this one sound pretty ugly. The only consolation is that even had we played a bit better, Sheffield might've beaten us anyway as they're red hot and on a 17 match unbeaten run. I really wish we'd do better in the Cups- since it's our only possibly of silverware and is seeming to be our only way to Europe...
