I'd be surprised to see any Premier League players other than Howard, Guzan, and perhaps Lichaj. With a full load of matches this weekend, I'd be surprised to see anyone from Stoke, and Dempsey has his first North London Derby as the early match on Saturday.

On the good side, since I'm "retired," I can watch the match live. There'll be no spoilers from the Hatter, though.

It's an acceptable explanation by Chandler if it is true and we will know come February so I'll reserve any judgement until them. Still, there was no need for all the drama - call-ups turned down because he was settling in, because he was tired, because he was "injured". These things just get fans mad and against him. I think all of that should have been avoided for his sake and the teams.

Thanks for posting TJ, while I share the same frustrations/reservations about Chandler as everyone else I think that JK handled this situation properly  Could he change his mind again? Yep, but worth the risk as long as he knows this is it. Glad to see Gatt get the call up, along with Jozy. Not shocked at all by Clint not being there, since he is playing in both the league and Europa action w/mixed results. He obviously needs to be at training everyday and try to figure out his role w/Spurs or he could find himself glued to the bench pretty soon.

I am pumped to see Mix, Gatt and Joe Gyau getting the call in.

We're the ugly nerd who is always available if the hot cheerleader he really wants turns him down. When he refused to play in any of the qualifiers he should have been bounced for good. There are actually Americans who speak English that should have gotten a call well before now: Lichaj [who would be perfect because he rested this weekend after 5 yellows] and Zak Whitbread, not to mention Wandolowski who won't be doing anything else for the rest of the year.

Nice to see Jozy and Agudelo back though, and good to see Herc still with us.

A big :text-+1: Hatter. Why Wondo or Pontius hasn't gotten a shot is beyond me. (Although I guess Pontius is still playing, isn't he?).

With the young guys called in like Gatt, Mixx, Johnson, Agudelo, etc, I have to wonder if Klinsmann plans to skip the camp cupcake in January and instead work solely with the players that will be on the Feb WC qualifying squad.

Really hoping to see Gatt. Blinding speed with amazing skill is one of my favorite combos to watch.

The Chandler thing I'm not so worried about. I honestly don't think Germany will ever try capping him, and if they do, oh well. Good Riddance! I think playing for JK would be an honor, and thats the way Chandler is probably looking at it right now. Not to say that playing for Germany wouldn't be. How would you like to carry your Fathers legacy on? Playing for the country he served for would be a nice start.

I agree that Wondo should be getting a look. I don't know if any of you saw the 30 minutes with Wondo on NBC Sports this year. But when he was playing in the MLS All Satr game. John Terry told him a couple times how well he moved in the box, if that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what does. I don't know what he has to do, but when you have an International player and soccer legend, you should probably be getting more chances. Brek and I were actually talking about this a couple days ago.

So much for mixing in the latino players like JK has always talked about doing.

Greece has been asking George John to come into camp, I wonder why JK is not looking at him at all, or why no one has ever even mentioned his name in talks. Seem to always be lacking big CB's. He fits that role.

and just to throw this out there. Rimando sucks. I don't like the guy at all. He is too small one, he's an ass two, and I think we have younger better up and coming goalies than him.

That's funny everytime I see him. I tell him that the left side just lost a US player and that we could use a younger, faster american over there now. Unfortunately he is being shopped by other teams in england and europe.

Gatt and Gyau especially, fingers crossed we actually do get to see them in action. I want to see some speed against those Ruskies.

I have re-arranged my incredibly busy schedule of very important matters to watch the match and be in the chat room with you Don and any other FUSAers. As usual, Jurgen will get no mercy from me, or . . . well . . . it is a friendly so maybe he will.

Didn't watch all of the match, thus I cannot comment to specific details, but I saw Bradley's strike...wow, that was a beauty. Seemed the US was rather fortunate to snatch a draw in extra time. Regardless, that was an interesting squad that Der Kommissar put out considering it lacked Boca, Donovan, Dempsey, 'dolo, Gooch, etc...
