The English media has completely avoided mentioning the bust up between Micah Richards and Clint Dempsey. I thought it would make a headline or two, but there's nothing. Maybe the English media doesn't want to point fingers at their new golden child?
I wrote a reply, deleted it and decide the best I could come up with is "it's just not news". Those sorts of confrontation happen all the time, usually with Robbie Savage involved. If you watch extended highlights of any game there will be patches of agro between charged and determined people.
Re: RE: Richards/Dempsey The thing is is that no highlights of the game show the bust up, which is odd. They only write up I found on it was at the Man City site, which recognzed Richards was wrong... but played it down. US Media would be all over it, at least as a momentary highlight.
