Ranieri already re-employed

Don’t know much about Roma’s current condition, except they still have Edin Dzeko, one of the most underrated strikers in Europe. Perhaps Signor Ranieri will fare better with a club not staring relegation in the face.

The good news for Ranieri is that Roma are mathematically safe from relegation with 44 points in 5th place. What they will be looking for is Ranieri to take Roma above one of the teams from Milan - Inter Milan with 47 points and AC Milan with 48 points - to claim one of the four available Champions League spots. AC Milan hasn't been in the Champions League since 2012-13, which was also the last season that Roma was NOT in the Champions League - and Ranieri is expected to keep it that way.

 

That’s a big ask. Especially given his record since winning PL at Leicester.

 

And Ranieri gets a win before Fulham. Of course Roma was playing a team battling relegation, so it was no great feat, but still another sad footnote in this season.
