    Any of you guys know of a footy bar out in Vegas? That's where I'll be this week. I'd like to catch the Europa League match against Wolfsburg out there for lunch, if possible. Thanks.

    I don't know of a specific footy bar, but Emeril's Sports Bar in the Palazzo is unbelievable. Stadium seating, leather chairs and couches and great food. It's a little pricey, but they've got dozens of TV's and they will put anything on for you.

    I would always look at BS if you want a decent list because, IIRC, those guys ASK to be on the list, thus...

    Reminder: Google map 'em to find the closest.

    And as some of those bartenders seem clueless in finding the right channels, tell 'em Directv 463-1 {that's the HD}

    PaydayC4; the only sportsbook I've ever been to that showed games was the Mandalay Bay. You can also try soccerbars.com. With MLB back in swing most sportsbooks will be showing baseball. Not sure where you are staying but beware of taxi fares. You can drop 100 bucks on a round trip and not go very far.

    I agree about the taxi fares. WALK THE STRIP, DONT TAKE A CAB! Traffic is ridiculous on the Strip.

    I'm back from Vegas. Enjoyed the trip but hated the fact I lost track of time and couldn't figure out where to go until later that night (I had no computer access and 3 hour difference from Atlanta screwed me). An Englishman told me that the Crown and Anchor on Tropicana Ave. is an English pub that shows all the footy games on TV.

    Oh well, all's well that ends well. We're moving on to Hamburg!
