    Dont get me wrong I like Peter Crouch as a player, and think he will be an asset for England next year, and i am really glad he scored today, but can anyone tell me how on Earth apart from the fact he had not scored in eons, he could in all honesty claim that first one, he hits a shot from 25 yards that hits not one but two defenders, the last one who actually knocked it in. Sorry Mr Crouch that first one was an own goal, now the second was nice.

    He was desperate. :wink: Well, now that Gangly Pete has ended the drought, I will be interested to see how he fares the remainder of the season.
