Ii think it's time to bring Jeff Cunningham back into the mix. I know he's never scored a goal for the US. I know that he seems to have issues being a team player. However, name one other player who can come off the bench and create havoc? Ok, I guess Stuart Holden, but after him the US are severely limited in attacking options. His current form is outstanding and he's playing like he did years ago. It's time to give him another chance.

24, this may be the silliest thing you've ever said on this site -- and that's quite an accomplishment!

I'm looking to EJ to fill that void after he's gotten some pitch time for us this season.

Waaaaal... much as I like deriding the 'well-traveled' Jeffro, I can think of one way he could play a role.

Bring him in at 70'. Bradley should do a teaser. Let him think he MIGHT start sometime... just NEVER let him start.

Cunningham hasnt been on a selection list since LAST WCQ, IIRC.

Well, I guess if Bob wanted to symbolically throw in the towel, putting Cunningham in would do the job.

You're right 24... people don't like this suggestion

Not sure how a MLS journeyman (how many times has he gotten traded? guys w/good attitudes tend not to get dealt multiple times) could help, but if we do qualify (a big if) an invite to the camp in order to compete for a spot might be warranted.

Ryan Pore is the leading American goal scorer in USL, let's give him a try.
