I know this is a Fulham site, but c'mon - we all support other teams. List yours and give a brief explanation. Mine, in no order:

FCK - was in Copenhagen last fall while studying abroad and got to follow them on their first ever Champions League run. Cooligans all the way.

FC St. Pauli - visited Hamburg one weekend and stumbled upon their bar. Their fans were unlike any other soccer fans I met and after doing some research about them, the whole organization is pretty unique.

HSV - they're the other, better squad in Hamburg.

Colchester - liked their run last year. Also enjoy how their stadium holds the same amount of people that RBNY get.

Hearts - I really cant explain this one. It seems like everyone hates this team, even their own fans - but I think the owner has something to with that...

Red Bull New York - Hey, how 'bout that local sports team?

Barcelona - I think it's really cool how they're interwoven with Catalan national identity, and also they're a lot of fun to watch.

I'm still in search of teams to support in Scotland, Germany and Italy.

As a few of you know, I am a former Liverpool supporter. So I will always cheer on the likes of Stevie G, Carra, Xabi and Finnan whenever they play.

Aside from them... I always cheer for the Ireland National Team and Rangers or Celtic seem to be growing on me. Can't seem to decide which side of the fence I will be standing on.

Love watching the Bundesliga as well. Stuttgart, Schalke, Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen... so on and so forth play some entertaining football. Besides the EPL that is where I find the most captivating football. Hoping to find a side to support in the Bundesliga soon.

You do NOT need to follow this or even base your decision on this, but most Catholics support Celtic and most non-Catholics support Rangers. You will rarely, if ever, find someone who supports both teams.

I know how deep the rivalry runs between the sides. Even down to religous affiliation. Bitter...

I am taking a spectators view of both sides, but to be honest I will probably just watch the two SPL giants with a fair weather approach. I'm look towards Germany for another side to support outside of Fulham. Fulham only plays once a week most the time... need something else to take up my time.

What am I going to do... attend class or work? Come on now. Lets be serious.

Tom, you've spent time in Deutschland right? At least Poland. Any suggestions on who to support in ze Bundesliga? Leaning towards a few, but wanted another perspective.

Crystal Palace, Earthquakes, Celtic, La Liga - I don't have a favorite club, but I enjoy the style of play exhibited by its top clubs...and until Fulham make it into Europe, I will support the Scousers in all things non-EPL.

    Another Scouse sympathizer.

Is it just me or is Steven Gerrard the best footballer in the world?

Reading FC - I was born not too far from Reading.

Notts Forest - I supported them as a youth growing up in the 70s; I still have a soft spot for them, but they're far too low down for me to be able to see them in the US.

Frankfurt Eintracht - lived in Frankfurt for 13 years (military brat)

Glasgow Rangers - only since Bease joined; didn't care about SPL until then

US National Teams - all ages and genders

England Senior Team - with an English mum, I grew up watching England

I'm not certain he's the best, maybe, but I do know that his freekick on opening day was beautiful.

Argentine, Italian and US national teams (in that order) - My mother is from Buenos Aires, my father is Italian-American. I put Argentina first because I still have a ton of family in Argentina who live and die with every match and they instilled that in me.

Lazio - My interest in them has dropped dramatically since the match-fixing scandal, but they were the first Italian team I'd ever heard of that wasn't Juventus, AC Milan, Inter or Roma. Plus they had Mancini when I was in High School, so you know I had to buy that shirt...

Red Bull New York - Because they're local. Ashamed to say I actually don't follow them too closely.

Also, I often find myself pulling for Barca. Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in the world, but somehow I can't really bring myself to support a frontrunner.

Nevzter, I have enough certainty that he is for the both of us. I've watched a fair bit of his career both at the international and club level and when a match is on the line he seems to always rise to the occasion. Grabs the match by the "scruff" of its neck.

    Olimpiakos, West Ham, AC Milan...

I was right about other teams you support...

this was a thread from about a year ago...here it is:

    http://www.fulhamusa.com/index.php?name ... pic&t=1524

A couple of Observations from that...Don I'm sorry the Hatters (Luton Town) got relegated....that's too bad cuz one year ago they had some decent players and many thought they'd push for the Premiership.
Tom & Mike...I'd like more details on this Stockport County and the bonds you bought to keep them afloat. That is so cool....On top of that did you notice that they upset League One Tranmere last week in the Carling Cup? Anyways...
One year later I can add to my list...

    England:
Fisher Athletic from the Conference South....how sweet is this...they got a new manager during the offseason and he sacked the whole team and brought in brand new players. that's what I call a wake up call!!!
Southend United- I was disappointed they were relegated last year. I started following them cuz they won promotion back to back years which I find incredible...I was hoping they'd make it 3 in a row and be in the Premiership.

Japan National Team - No explanation necessary.

Avispa Fukuoka - A team located about a half-hour (by train) from my hometown in Japan. I always had a rooting interest in them, but I became a full-blown fan after watching them play last May.

Celtic - Always liked them much more than Rangers, mainly due to their fan support. Nakamura's signing and his ensuing heroics have helped, as well.

right on....in my post on the older thread I had them down too cuz when i first started following football, the Serie A was shown on FSC (called something else back then) and my favorite player played for them. "El Matador" Marcelo Salas.
