85 B deal. Company has to pay 10.5% on the amount if it doesnt use it, 14% if they do.
You do the math. What's worse... the major stockholders and board wonder if it might have been better to go Chapter 11. OTOH 'we' own 80% of it.

So? It didnt pass. Maybe someone should take a deeper look as to her sincerity in trying to get it through but we've all voted for rep who were against some entitlement but take it once it is there. Much as I hate the witch..... there's no there, there. Need to look at Reid on this.

Ironically, Jim Cramer (of Mad Money fame) was on the tube this a.m. saying that the AIG bailout had already paid for itself. I didn't think that made much sense since the idea behind the govt buying these assets low is that the value is bad and will go up over a period of (hopefully) a couple of years. No link, but if you go to Morning Joe tomorrow you can see the clip.
