Been a fan since he joined the team, but this is inexcusable:

Agreed. He should receive some sort of suspension, even if just a match. He has been charged by the FA for violent conduct, so we'll likely hear something later in the week.

Sacha lost his cool, but respect the fact he came out an apologized and is taking his punishment accordingly.

and, evidently, the club responded to his ackowledgement and apology by protesting the process. Now we'll lose Riether for an extra game. Maroons!!!!!!!

flippin' twitter - pick up the phone and call him if you want to apologize and i hope he did so. reither seems to be a classy guy and he snapped.

i've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks but this was quite a surprise re reither's behavior...or maybe not. frustration is understandable.

So does this mean Zverotic will be given an opportunity?

I would think so, but I wouldn't rule out Jol selecting Hughes for the position since we've seen that recently.

Fair punishment by the FA. I understand the nature of our protest (equal application), but it still doesn't sit well that we went looking for a loophole in a clear issue of right and wrong. That seems to run counter to the nature of the club. I'm probably just being naïve.

Thanks for that Nev. Social media makes me feel like the guy yelling at the kids to get off his damn yard. Don't get it, don't care for it.
