Background: All Ohio voters can use absentee ballots

Now, more background: Ohio Republican assembly for some stupid reason made it possible to register and get an absentee ballot the same day.

Here's the contention: By the time the registration is disallowed for any reason, including 'we can find no evidence you exist', the vote is counted.

And it gets better! Since these polling places are only open for people to register and fill out absentee ballots, the SoS says they dont need to allow election observers to oversee. They are not technically 'Voting', just casting a ballot.

Also the McCain campaign screwed up and distributes several hundred thousand absentee ballots without a checkbox saying "I certify I am a citizen and registered voter"
- tossed out.

All legal and by the book. Just imagine if it was Ken Blackwell, SoS [R] in the last election.

 

yeah, this is totally ridiculous. Brunner's excuse for no election observers is ludicrous. Get ready for the republicans to contest Ohio votes.
