RE: NZ Mid trying out at Fulham

Curious since Simon made it sound like he was happy with the choice of Sigi as coach for the Crew. Looks like he knows corporate speak as well as the rest of us (http://www.buzzwhack.com/).

I agree that I don't think he'll get a spot, although his chances have improved given the current condition of the midfield corps. Is Fulham bringing anyone else in to try and fill these spots?

eh.. who knows... no-one wants the same guy firin' them twice!

He's too old, though.. and if he DOES get a slot, it'll be a loan.

Fulham certianly Do not need a 31 year old Kiwi who cant make it in MLS

Actually he does pretty well in MLS... I think he's got issues with Sigi Schmid

But, like you say, he's past his sell-by

This is completely unconfirmed, but there may be two kiwis going to Fulham by way of Columbus.
I work with a woman who's son is coached by Duncan Oughton. He apparently announced at the end of the season that he was leaving the country, to go play in England. She was pretty sure he said that he was going to McBride's team.
As I said, unsubstantiated, but if it's true, I'm going to feel super-cool.

Sorry I've been so absent, by the way. Did y'all miss me?
And Jux wants me to tell everyone that he's a stud. Let the mockery commence.

Its hard to argue with Coleman's transfer record...he's has his flops but he's also had a couple of winners. Having said that, a has-been Kiwi with no premiership experience is not what we need now. We need solidity in central defence (back-up for Goma and Bocca) and a defensive, no glory all guts, workhorse (cliche, cliche) midfielder. Not to mention that most Kiwis are miserable bastards. (cue someone to say that some of their best friends are kiwis...)

I dont even delete my own inanities...

And Mrs Jux, if you dont post that Dunc tidbit on the Crew board , you have NO..oh, never mind.
    :O
Well, that's Duncan... he aint too pretty but, he's a little pit bull.

uh.. wait a minute... what manager, from next level up, hires a guy he's never seen before, who's been injured the entire previous season?

I think there's some vodker in that kiwi juice!

This falls under the category of either:
    TMI!! or total mockery.

    Choose your poison.

Well, I did say it was Jux that was the...yeah, you're right. Never mind.
But, yes, you are correct-both anatomically and figuratively. I hear they're mean over there. But Petty, if you want to have the scoop, by all means...

And Duncan is pretty. Of course, as I have a special place in my heart for kiwis-bastards or no-so I'm biased. And, he was instrumental (as in he engineered it with Ross Paule) in getting me a kit signed by the whole team this season.
