NYC meet up - Everton 8/27

Ok, correct me I'm wrong but isn't this match being played live??? OK, so I think I can make this one, I swear!!!

Anyone else up for it??

 

How about Arsenal on Wednesday? I could arrange to be in the city if anyone is up for it!

Ooooo, thats tempting too. I could arrange to be in the city for both, its been a while since I've had to listen to NJGlen's inappropriate (and, if I may add, terribly bad) jokes while watching Fulham. :shock:

Saturday's Arsenal match is on two-hour tape delay: Noon in the Eastern Time Zone.

 

I know you mean the match vs. "Everton" is on a two hour dealy on Saturday! That is such crap, I thought it was LIVE?!?!

 

The Everton match on Saturday IS LIVE at Noon EDT/11AM CDT.

The Arsenal match on Wednesday is on a two hour delay beginning at 5PM EDT/4PM CDT. For those at work, the match will be replayed that night at 11PM EDT/10PM CDT. I will be watching the 10PM Chicago time airing.

I might be able to make it for the Arsenal match. Saturday looks good for me.

Sorry to break the news to you, but if kick off is at 15:00 (3pm) London Time, then how can it be a Live match at Noon Eastern Standard time. It it were 'live', it would start at 10am.

FSC f'd up their schedule and listed the match as 'live'.

 

Ok, so it's NOT live! So what?! You still wanna meet up, or what?!? :wink:

My fault. Usually the 11AM Chicago time game on FSC is LIVE.

Summer's in Arlington is playing the game at 5:00 and again at 9:00...Lucky Bar in DC is only playing the game at 5:00 on CT Ave.

I'm thinking I may just avoid internet all day wednesday and try to catch the game at summer's at 9:00 and hope some prick doesn't ruin it for me like last time.

It happened two seasons ago...I was in the bar watching the replay of the Fulham vs. Man United game, and a drunk and pissed off Man United fan who watched it that morning told me the score cause he was mad that they lost.

Meet up in NYC

Ok, if you want to meet up, howzabout McCormack's or Baker St.? I believe both are showing the match (though, it IS on two hour tape delay, if I read correctly!) The only glitch might be the Champions League Everton match which will be shown starting at 4pm. I can make most places in Manhattan by about 5:30, as I work downtown.

Anyone up for it?

We can quibble about Saturday later.

No problem Dave...I've been on a mission to convert people to Fulham in the last few weeks and I'm trying to get some to go to the games on Saturdays. I'm not sure i'm going to bring them to the slaughter that may be occuring this evening though.
