Yeah I'm fucking starting the thread now, because tomorrow is the first Europa match (for which there is no TV) and I am fucking AMPED. The league opener in Portsmouth probably won't be on TV, and nobody is going at 3pm on a Tuesday even if the Blackburn match is, but this one definitely will be. First (most likely) TV game of the season, against the Scum, and a later-than-average start on a Sunday. BE THERE.

And don't worry, I'll bump this thread every few days. :D

This will be a tremendous way to kick off my vacation that week...as long as I haven't left for somewhere else by then.

Portsmouth is televised...at 6:45 PM on tape-delay for Nevada Smith's. Good luck getting there without a spoiled result. Time to stick to Nevland Lover #1, Gentleman Jim.

I *will* be there for this game, Red Bulls be damned. This is a game that means something. Let's all remember where blue flags are supposed to go!

We need to, but everyone should refresh their memories on the tunes though. When we sing some of the harder to remember songs, people shout the wrong lyrics at the top of their lungs and we all look at each other like what the hell.

We all p*ss in a blue and white pot,
    A blue and white pot,
    A blue and white pot,
We all p*ss in a blue and white pot,
    A blue and white pot,
    A blue and white pot...

Not bad, and that fanchants.com site is excellent. I'm liking "Build a Bonfire" (#52 on the list of Fulham chants, tune of "Oh My Darling Clementine") and one I read elsewhere that I don't see on this site, to the tune of "London Bridge":

    Stamford Bridge is falling down
    Falling down
    Falling down
    Stamford Bridge is falling down
    Poor old Chelsea

Build her up in black and white
    Black and white
    Black and white
Build her up in black and white
    Poor old Chelsea

(Apologies if I got any of that wrong.)

Josh, Nick, John, Rudy . . . learn these ones. Or at least read through them so when someone starts them up, we can all figure it out. Most of these are easy to figure out mid-song, but why not get it now.

    http://fanchants.com/football-songs/ful ... onfire-20/

And the one Josh brought up with the lyrics above. It'd be great to sing more, but we just need to know the tunes or at least have a good enough instinct to learn on the fly, that's all.

    This weekend we should sing...
    1) When Chelsea sings
    2) When Chelsea scores
    3) Whenever the hell else we feel like it

Couple other really good ones we should do...

    http://fanchants.com/football-songs/ful ... johnson-2/
    http://fanchants.com/football-songs/ful ... ot-seol-2/
    http://fanchants.com/football-songs/ful ... hangeland/
    http://fanchants.com/football-songs/ful ... by-zamora/

Hopefully some of the cats that show up that like to watch the game by themselves in a corner will join in, but not holding my breath. We should be offensive as hell this weekend.
