Anyway, I have good news . . we're in a three-way tie for 13th place! Hull won, who gives a shit? I don't. Onward and upward, my friends.

I know it's early to make this post, but we can't have any "I promised my mom I'd mop the kitchen floor" or "My wife is going underwear shopping and I promised I'd go" excuses for this weekend.

It's Arsenal so we need to be loud and proud on Saturday, because I'm pretty sure that Arsenal won't be (psst. they only sing when they're winning)

Guys, btw . . USA v. Guatemala Watch Party

Josh went to the one when we played Mexico, so he can attest these are well attended . . not to mention fun. Thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

 

They are fun, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it on Wednesday - going out on weeknights is tough.

I should probably be there on Saturday, though I need to figure out transportation to a prior commitment I have later in the day before I can say so for sure.

 

OK, excellent. I'm going to have to drive to my later destination right afterwards so I'll have to limit myself to 0-1 beers but that's a small price to pay. I'll be there.

Hey, anyone ever try to drive to the EV and park near Nevada's on a Saturday? I'm trying to get out of town as quickly as possible afterward and not needing to take the train back to Brooklyn and then deal with potential traffic on the BQE (in addition to potential traffic on the LIE I'm going to have to deal with anyway) would help facilitate that.
