...I hope the mid week malaise doesn't carry over into a weekend one as well.

I anticipate a 2-1 scrap fest. The Whites winning of course. It's not to early for line ups.

I'm predicting an ass-kicking. I think that CC's pissed and there'll be some changes made. Glenn and his fellow Toons will be the folks who suffer

    Niemi

    Volzy -- Christanval -- Boca -- 3U

    Wayne -- Brown -- Smertin --

    --- Dempsey ---

    Little Aeroplane -- Iron Head

    HatterDon says: 4-1 good guys.

See you in the chatroom. I hope to god my FulhamTV works this time!

I think we'll come out and play a good game, after the last one. CC will have them ready to play. I see a 2-1 victory.....now a question?

    A. I've liked Rout's work on the right side, but do ya'll think he'll coming off the bench the rest of the season - since the Spurs want him back at the end of the loan? We do have other options now...

    B. When's Claus going to make it back from injury?

i agree. i think cc experimented a bit on tuesday with some unfit and unaccustomed players, and the results were less than desirable. i think he goes back to his original back four (ie not pearce and zat). no clue what the line up will be, but expect davies, smertin and montella off the bench. 2-1 whites. see everyone in the chat bright and early!

Forget about Gooch, I just want a win. 3 points. Not one, not none, three.

I hope to be in the chat at 10 AM for the game. Whilst programming in C, maybe. Regardless, GO COTTAGERS~!

Just a heads up for those without Setanta, DirecTV is having a free preview weekend of this channel this weekend, so all can enjoy this game. I know I'm looking forward to it!

    RE: Commentary HELP!!

You can tell Brian just signed his extension and isn't negotiating.

Seriously; nice to see Cookie talk about Brian this way:

Fulham manager Chris Coleman has hailed Brian McBride as one of the best signings in the history of the Premiership.

The 34-year-old is the club's leading scorer this season with 10 goals and has signed a one-year extension to his contract at Craven Cottage taking him up to the end of next season.

Coleman signed the USA international from MLS side Columbus Crew for #700,000 in 2004, and has seen him find the net 34 times in 122 appearances and he will lead the attack when the Cottagers host Newcastle.

The Fulham boss said: ``If you look at it pound for pound, you can't buy anyone who attacks the ball like he does and score goals like he does.

``For the amount of money we spent and the service he has given us, it has got to be the best #700,000 that anyone has ever spent.

``He looks after himself when he is not at training, and he rarely misses games. You know what you're getting with Brian.''

    I love you, baby!
    And if it's quite alright,
    I need you, baby,
    To warm a lonely night.
    I love you, baby;
Trust in me when I say.
    Oh, pretty baby,
Don't bring me down, I pray.
    Oh, pretty baby,
Now that I found you, stay.
And let me love you, baby,
    Let me love you.

Excellent game. I was a little fearful when Diop came on, but he quickly put my fears to rest with his excellent work on the right slotting into McBride. Well played boys, well played.

A much-needed win for Fulham. We were the much better team in the second half, and deserved nothing less than three points. Good stuff from everybody, even Diop -- I certainly didn't think that he could make the moves he made which led to Brian's goal.

Watching Newcastle play also reminded me just how much of a tool Titus Bramble really is. When I saw his name on the Starting XI, I immediately felt more confident about our chances of winning. Then again, you could say the same about their entire defensive unit.

No matter, we showed some winning mentality today and it paid off. COYW!

Obviously a good decision by Coleman, because they won without him. Good for Fulham. They are right back on track. I wish Oguchi would have decided to come to Fulham though.
