Can anyone confirm that the 2007/08 strip, specifically the home white strip, is relatively inferior materials to Nike Fit?

Saw a few people complaining on the offal.

Looks like the new one is similar to an adidas design that had betfair on it. Wonder if it will be with or sans collar??? Personally, "with" is cool with me. Especially for such a proper Club as Ours.

Confirmed. Not as thick/quality as the rest of the Nike gear.

I do like the look of it plus, if it is like the 'Betfair' one of old, I certainly won't complain.

I'll post here, as I did on offal, if anyone wants to sell me their used Home White strip from this season, just let me know. You could use it as a down payment on your new 2008/09 strip.

Prefer size XXL, but would consider XL also. Short sleeve.

they'll get my 2007-2008 FFC home Moritz Volz jersey when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers!

Oh, and Christian, this year's jerseys ran a bit larger than last. So an XL might work well for you. I'm just a little bit swimming in mine.

Good to know. After dropping a few l-b's sounds like an XL should work.

Would they have announced new 08-08 away kits during the same release, or can we (I) assume that the 2007-8 away kit will remain unchanged? I hope so, I think its stellar.

    Thanks for update.

At first glance the collar is gone (unsure), I hope they keep it.
But it does look like the material is thicker though, I didn't care for the current "thin" model, after a few minutes of sweating it looked like they were in a wet t-shirt contest (see Bradical's avitar as an example).
Sorry, I am not into man-nip... :3d smile:

It looks upside down -- I don't like it.

Seriously, though, it will be interesting to see what it actually looks like.

Personally, my favorite was the white Pipex home jersey by Puma with the red stripe on one shoulder/sleeve and the black stripe on the other. Always thought those were really sharp and distinctive.

I changed my avatar to a non-nip show theme.

But really, do they release the kits one at a time, or will the new home kit be the only change from 07-08? In other words, will a new road kit be revealed in the coming weeks, a new 3rd kit, etc? I'm wondering because I'm damn close to buying a 07-08 away kit but if its about to change I'll have to wait.

very, very excited about the new strip. I'm hoping the small "V" of the neck in black, leads to a black collar, but it will be purchased regardless. Chicago, I also enjoyed the Puma Pipex kit with red sleeve / black sleeve, probably my favorite.

Wow, those red-black checkerboard shirts from 1996-97 are heinous.

I really think I may buy one of those old-school replicas from TOFFS soon. Back in the day, shirts had numbers but not names, right?
