Did you know that THE OSU was in the national title game?

Dont feel bad... I didnt either.

In fact the only way I found out was I happened to be watching a local TV Sun Morn news show and they devoted 5 seconds to it... which is about as much as was carried in the Columbus Dispatch where it took me 5 screens to find an article.. so far this is the only one

But even MORE inexplicable, it's not mentioned anywhere near the top thread on the Crew Messageboard.

{added} I take that crack about the Crew MB back... They have a single thread on it titled "OSU Tournament Action"... however did I miss it!

The game is today (Sunday) 3:00pm ESPN2

Here's the PROBABLE reason this is so low profile.... the Final Four:

OSU def UMass
Wake Forest def VaTech

 

I watched some of the semis free on ESPN 360. Though Va. Tech looked stronger than Wake, so Buckeyes need to step it up. Did they win it last year also?

Go Buckeyes! For Football Champions, no matter how you define it.

 

Hell.. theyve never been to final four.
Another reason it was a shock... sure winning the Big ten is something but Indiana's no longer a huge powerhouse.

Recent OSU finals appearances: 2006 BCS, 2007 NCAA BB, 2007 soccer, 2007 BCS
Oh... and came in NCAA 2nd in womens pistol and synchronized swimming. 3rd in mens rowing.

Reason #21647632456730264-832 a team should not pack it in and play so defensively after scoring an early goal. Especially a team like OSU, that is especially weak on at least one of the flanks.

Look at that! I knew it was bad but that's ridiculous... Why the hell wasnt there a red when that guy OBVIOUSLY ran right into the cleats!
