Not a big change for FC Dallas, which is fine with me.

Hmmm; no sponsor for DC United? I'll speak to my partner and see if The Tim and Bob Show have enough funds for that. :D

I havent taken a looksie yet but I wish the Fire would go back to the shirt that was sky blue with the four red stars just like the Chicago flag. That was their biggest selling shirt to date and had the best look by far.

Wow, I just took a look at the Fire Kit...I had no idea Best Buy was our sponsor this year hahah...Well it is a hell of a lot better looking then when we had Honda on the lower back and in a completely different color red than the rest of our kit.

Overall, I like it, I coud do without the different colored background though. Or if they had that they should of made it in the shape of the Best Buy price tag logo.

I like the simplicity of teams like Liverpool with Carlsberg or Arsenal with Fly Emirates...the name is on there but no background just the font of the company's logo...thats what the fire should have done...oh well still an improvement and looks better than all of the teams without a shirt sponsor. And at least I know who our shirt sponsor is.

I still think LA has the best looking kits.

Am I only one who think "Best Buy" looks ridiculous on those Chicago strips?

LA Galaxy, Salt Lake, and Toronto win this competition.

I like Toronto and Columbus. I'm hoping the shirt sponsor for DC will not make the shirt look stupid.

    Columbus????

Looks like Glidden threw-up their overstock of banana yellow on a shirt and called it a day. Pitty, as they have one of the coller looking badges.

I think the Best Buy looks like it is on a piece of fat tape and slapped on the front of the jersey.

I don't hate the new Columbus kit. At least the sponsor logo doesn't clash completely with it. And as silly as that sounds, it bugs me sometimes when logos screw up the entire look of the kit.

The hoops are classic - I think I like the blue hoops better than last year's grey.
Maybe the US team should consider that.

Columbus gets the 'most unfortunate uni' award - yuck.
Houston, we (also) have a problem. Why a random squiggly on the front?

Does anyone else find it baffling how few real companies seem to be sponsoring MLS - I'll give you Best Buy, but c'mon, Herbalife?
And what the heck is 'Xango' anyway? BMO? Amigo Energy?
Where are the big money corporations. Pepsi? Toyota? Maybe San Jose can get Ted's Taco Shop if the price is right...

Au contraire... if it was all that bad, there would be plenty of bitching about it on Crew/BS board. When Glidden was announced, the moaners got it all out of their systems. But unless we can get Glidden to change their logo, what's the point?

It was when the mfr put squiggles on the shirts that everyone got upset.

Glad you appreciate the badge though.. a point of perverse pride and when newbies come on and suggest 'getting rid of the gay badge', the unfortunate gets his ass handed to him.

First scratch BMO off of your list. It is a very large Canadian banking and financial services company also known as the Bank of MOntreal.

Right now it seems the larger, better known companies are investing in field naming rights or as in the Red Bull buying the whole team. So far the MLS has:

The Home Depot Center in LA,
    Pizza Hut Park with Dallas,
    Toyota Park in Chicago,
Dick's Sporting Goods Field in Colorado,
BMO field in Toronto (BMO also is the team jersy sponsor),
Red Bull Park in New York (who bought the whole franchise)

The only soccer specific stadiums without naming rights deals I believe are Columbus and Salt Lake.

I think you may want to check the numbers on Herbalife. Here is the link: http://finance.google.com/finance?q=HLF

The market cap on them is close to $3B, so I think you should re-evaluate your assessment of sponsors.
