Does anyone know if MLS is doing their online subscription again? Last season I had it and loved it, but I can't find any news on it this season (or where to sign up for it).
Also, I'm considering getting the DirectKick package instead even though I think it will cost more. My dilemma, is that the quality is better on tv (I would expect. the MLSlive.tv was not the greatest quality and would have to buffer occasionally), but with the online I can access it anytime I want.
Does anyone have strong opinions one way or the other on this dilemma?
    Help/experience would be much appreciated.

i haven't heard anything about it. Is there a particular team you follow, hence getting coverage to all the games. Or do you just like MLS in general?

sweet name and coinciding pic by the way...hilarious!!!
    welcome to the site too

    Haha. Thanks.
I follow the whole league, but DC is my team. I'm an RSL supporter in any game except against DC, though.
Last season I'd watch all the games, though. During the week I could watch one or two a day and be done in time for the next week's matches. I liked that with the online I could go back and watch from the beginning of the season (cause I didn't start getting back into soccer until the World Cup when we started doing pick-up games). But I'll be watching from the get go this time, so I guess I won't need that feature.
Anyway, i want coverage of the whole league. If I have to miss a DC game once in a while I'll be sad, but I'll just watch some reruns of The Office and be fine.

ok...cool. i hear DC has a new striker that has had a great preseason. I am an RSL supporter...I know the team here is pretty geared up as is Freddy Adu.

i haven't seen anything about the online subscription but if I do, I'll let you know. This is the most interested I have been in MLS as a whole and I myself would like to follow other matches as well...not because of Beckham either people. :)

elopingcamel, you have support a great team. where are you located? I had MLS package last year, purchased out of fear that might be the only way to see DC United. I enjoyed it, and I was glad I purchased it. And I ended up watching more games that didn't involve DC than I thought I was.

Although I probably won't be doing it this year, life has been pretty busy of late...so I don't how much I'll be able to watch.

I'm in Las Vegas. Close enough to make it to an RSl game or two, but far enough to go broke if I try for any more than that. I saw them last year against DC when they came out of nowhere and broke DC's streak without a loss. Great game.
Maybe I'll just go for the DK package. I just gotta make sure I'm not gonna move or anything before the end of the season. I don't like hassle.

I bought the Direct Kick pass two seasons ago and it was pretty good. I have always been a proponent of watching on TV rather than on the Internet. I also read that this year's pass will include far more games than in previous seasons. I would go for this option.

how much is Direct Kick? The only reason I'd look at this as an option would be to go back and watch other games that i missed the weekend before.
