Memorial Day

    Every year this holiday gets a little more difficult for me, so every year I look forward even more to the holiday ritual of burning dead animals by the poolside. No small children to splash about this year, but there's 100% chance of hugs, music, Dos Equiis, Diet Dr. Pepper, and entirely too much to eat, and 0% chance of rain.

    Enjoy the holiday, and remember those who made this day possible for all of us, but never were as lucky as I was 39 years ago next month.
