McBride Officially Retires from International Play

    Well, he did... sorta.

    Who would figger, four years ago, that he would play almost, if not, every minute of every game because of his DEFENSE!

    More failure on part of Arena than his...

    Some say you have to be selfish to be a successful striker, but when it comes to Brian McBride, selfless would be the appropriate word.

    The image of a blood-splattered McBride after an elbow from Italy's Daniele De Rossi during the World Cup in Germany is one that represents another of his biggest assets: Courage.
