Maurice Cook

I was sad to hear of the death of Maurice Cook. I remember him well. Not the most consistant player, but what Fulham player is. On a good day he was a bustling centre forward that scored a lot of goals for Fulham. He and Graham Leggatt, with Haynes in support were dazzling.
I remember Tony Macedo wanting to sell a pocket radio to Maurice. Maurice asked him if he scored a hat trick against Sheffield United that night, would he give him the radio. Well Cook scored his three goals in a 5-2 win.

Fulham playing Watford was very appropriate. Many fans from both Clubs will remember him fondly.

He was a nice man....always had time for younger fans. I remember him being a great header of the ball..why no mention on the FFC website ??
