RE: Martin O Martin O'Neill is who I voted for. I just read today that O'Neill wants to get back into managing. I can think of a team in SW6 that could use his services. And I am not referring to Blues down the road.
RE: Martin O I think Chris has done a incredible job with the team considering he: A) Never had a large transfer budget B) Didn't have any head coaching experience C) Had to deal with the loss of our best player in his first full season That is all in the past now and my only hang up with Coleman is that I can't think of any players that have developed since he took over. None of them...our defense hasn't improved, our midfield hasn't either and same with the forwards. O'Neill could change all of that and improve us dramatically.
Re: RE: Martin O Bwahahahahahaha...!!!! They dissolved the Ladies' team! The "Jewel of MLS" no longer has a hemorrhoid!
RE: Re: RE: Martin O I'll continue my post from above. A team like Fulham obviously cannot rely on a huge transfer fee to bring in players or on the development of its youngsters (because they won't develop under CC) so where does our team get its great players from? A) Tigana B) Smart Transfer Activity C) With a manager that has clout...like Mr. O'neill. You wonder why all the French players came to us when Tigana took over, or why Benitez at Liverpool has the spanish players? And what do we have right now...not even the best Welsh players. Rant done. Edit: I just wanted to add that I am 100% behind Coleman while he is manager. I will support him and his decisions whatever they may be as the man is Fulham and deserves everyones backing while at the helm of FFC.
RE: Re: RE: Martin O While Coleman has done a good job, I think a change could help the team. Fulham had a good run at the end of the season--the loss to Sunderland aside--which made some people forget the disappointing results earlier in the season. Please note that if Coleman stays at Fulham I won't be upset. But, I think the club has hidden potential that Coleman has been unable to find. Maybe bringing someone new in would help the club advance, rather than simply continuing to maintain.
