Looks like the Board is not happy with the current set-up at the club. I am guessing some coaches will be fired and some others will be brought in. Whether or not this includes Cookie is yet to be seen.

Per the above article in this thread, who are the two directors that are rumoured to be on their way out? I have not heard anything about this.

The two directors are in fact Lee Hoos and Andy Ambler. Lee was the American who helped myself and Tom out with ideas for the site. He was very approachable and personable for a man in such a high position. I have met Andy once or twice and the same goes for him, I've been told that Andy was very capable of his position.

This is also bad news for Coleman, as Lee was a very staunch supporter of Cookie. Interesting times ahead.

I feel bad for Lee. I find it interesting that he is the one who gets blamed for this. If there is no money to spend, how is one supposed to actively pursue players to keep a team playing well and in the Premiership?

As we all know, Fulham is on a shoe-string budget and they have done well considering the circumstances. Lee has done well with things and now he is out. I think that shows the wrong signs to people.

After January I was beginning to think that Al Fayed was turning things in a positive direction, but I was wrong. He should really look in the mirror and evaluate himself as an owner. He must learn that cheap ass owners that don't spend money are heading down a road toward relegation and more. He is the problem and he must leave soon!

I dont think there should be any link between the directors being sacked and the coaching staff.

Over the past few seasons I cant remember a season where one or more director moved on. I have a friend that knows Lee Hoos well so I might see if he know anything about it.

As for Cookie and the Coaching staff, I think they will be judged purely on the team performances between now and the end of the season, we all knew March would be tough, though Saturdays result was poor. If we finish in the bottom 5 I think Cookie might have to look over his shoulder.

That said who would come in if he went? I cant think of any british managers that are available that I would want, there might be a few from europe but I'm stuck to name them.

According to the Sunday Mirror, a paper I am not too familiar with in terms of whether I believe it or not, is reporting that Fulham will sack Chris Coleman at the end of the season and bring in Martin O'Neil. That is an interesting thought and one that seems quite appealing to be honest with you. Let's see how the season ends, but O'Neil running the show at Fulham would not be a bad thing at all in my opinion.

From everything I've read, O'Neil is the only really sensible option IF CC is replaced. The last thing needed at Fulham is a retread... and becuase of the circumstance around O'Neil's leaving up north, you cant call him that.

While, like a lot of Yanks, I'd love to see Arena in there, that simply wont happen this year.

I thought Martin O'Neil was nearly set as the next Newcastle manager, and if not Newcastle is still a front runner for the England job once Sven leaves. I never saw anything about Fulham...but that could be great if he took over at Fulham (not that I hate having CC in there).
