Just sad it didn't work out. Was really hoping it would but couldn't seem to get it right on consistent basis. Oh well, back to the managerial drawing board.

New mids and new defenders and the sqaud is still allowing goals in bunches. Kit wasn't going to survive ongoing problems in the back.

I am sad as well. I think we all like to see deserving people get promoted from within an organization instead of bringing in someone from the outside. He seems like a good guy and I hate it that he couldn't make it happen. I'm sure he does as well, just as I'm sure he's under no illusions about the reality of modern day football. Here's hoping he learned enough throughout this experience to make another go of it in the near future and succeed wildly.

Well, at least you don't have to hear & read Kit out anymore.

I'm less concerned with who takes over than I am in how we play. I want to see a well organized team that can defend and attempts to take the game to the opponent on a regular basis.

It's weird that this all happened right after I wrote and posted my View. Sigh.

Feel for Kit, but his tactical inconsistency was eventually his downfall. He really wanted us to play an attractive attacking style, but just couldn't sort out our defense. On to the next one... Here's who the bookies think might come in:

Am I missing something? Why would Bruce leave a side he's built into the class of the league so far for Fulham? I'd take him in a heartbeat, I just don't see why he'd come.

I'm very sad to see Kit go, as I think most of us are since he is a likable guy that we wanted to succeed. @HatterDon made a very compelling case for why he should go that almost brought me over. (Don they apparently are listening for you now, who should they get to manage?) However, I was still willing to give Kit more time since our results have been uneven, but in my view, improving.

Most of all I want the team to win, so I hope the club is making the right decision and that the new manager will take the foundation Kit has built and make something positive come out of it. My best wishes to Kit wherever he goes.

Everything has pretty much been said (and I affix responsibility for the sacking to HD's "View") and the writing was on the wall for Kit. Can't lose 5-2 at home when prior results were inconsistent and he must have known the pressure was mounting at The Cottage.

Patrick Vieira is 16 to 1? Could he also play?
