John Terry Named England Captain

    John Terry has been named England's captain going forward into the Euro 2008 qualifying which starts on September 2nd. Terry will wear the captain's armband, which was previously worn by David Beckham since 2001, for the first time on August 16th in a friendly against defending Euro 2004 champions Greece.

    I think he's a good choice. Despite being a Chelski, he's tough defender with good qualities.
