SDI test was held on June 26.

This time the interceptor was dropped from a plane. Want to know if it scored?
    What do you think?
You didnt read about it in the Obama/MSM press did you!

After all.. Obama, the military expert, says he will cancel development because it's unproven.

Of all the sad ways in which Repubicans worship at the altar of Ronald Reagan, the saddest is, by far, STAR WARS! It was conceptually flawed in its initial "form" at its initial time. The fact that we're no longer in a Cold-War ICBM mode hasn't stopped us bleeding billions to try and prove that Ronnie's pipe dream of a strategic missile defense wasn't just an indication of early onset.

When it became obvious that nukes can be delivered by C-130/Submarine/Ground launched cruise missiles [and much more cheaply and accurately], instead of abandoning Little Ronnie's Little Maginot Line, we extended the fiction to cover these delivery missions. And it worked. SDI is just as capable of stopping cruise missiles as it is in stopping ICBMs.

Now, of course, delivery systems include un-scanned shipments into our ports as well as FedEx packages. And we're STILL harping on SDI. This administration has made it possible for the system to achieve its benchmarks, however. Under the Bush Administration, weapons developers don't have to meet timetables or even success dates. All they have to do is cash checks!

Nice work, if you can get it.

A little bit of a triangulation reach, Don.

It works on all missiles, not just nukes and it's nowhere near as expensive to set up and use as it would have been in the late eighties..
