I doubt Ince reads this board however it appears highly likely Ince will be let go at Blackburn shortly.

    Do you think:

    a) He is not fit to be a Prem manager at all, ever
    b) Just lacks experience at this point
    c) Never had a chance due to the departure of some important players and late start spending
    d) Has not been given enough time
    e) All the above

or maybe it is something else, what do you say?

honestly, i'm thinking f) Hughes is out before Ince

but as I've been saying since September, the Paul Ince face says it all. the smiling, beaming "i hope no one finds out i'm actually really unqualified" expression he always shows.

he doesnt throw temper-tantrums. he doesnt pull an Art Shell/Romeo Crenell and just stare blankly. he just smiles.

and Blackburn are going to get relegated.

    Re: RE: Ince

I second this -- Macclesfield and MK Dons to the Prem is a very big leap.

I hope he comes back -- if Iain Dowie is going to get a shot at managing half the teams in the CCC and Prem why not the Guv.

Bummer. I liked TimmyG's observation that you could see it on his face, really you could see it in his eyes, and I think BarryP E-A is probably spot on.

    Hijacking the thread....who is next?

    a) Curbishley
    b) Sam
    c) Hughes
    d) Hodgson - not likely, I know
    e) somebody else

now it looks like Big Sam.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 787940.stm

Allardyce is like the fat kid that no girl wants until they realize that he's the only guy left with a car and it's almost prom night. Curbishly would probably be the pimply kid that no girl wants, if we wanted to extend that metaphor.

Big Sam can keep them up with some majorly ugly football. We'll see.

Not confirmed, and I heard that Sam was under consideration for the Sunderland job, too.

No real surprise there. After hiring and firing Ince they were going to appoint someone with PL experience.

Does he fit with the type of players Blackburn already has? Seems to me they were a grind it out, kind of dirty team under Hughes.

dammit, that means Blackburn will be competing this year for survival. Which means our match in January wont be the layup it should. :x

Look, i never liked the guy. Would have been happier if he'd just disappeared from Football, altogether...But in FAIRNESS, I have to also say E-A.

If he'd had a little more time to prove himself an abject failure, meanwhile benefiting Fulham's position, I'd have easily voted "A".
