I have one just found out that this is the last season of Shea stadium and in 2009 the Mets will have Citi Field.

Yes, and it can't come soon enough. I cannot stand shea stadium although the sightlines aren't that bad. The concession areas are horrible and there is no atmosphere away from the game. The place is just falling apart. Can't wait to ride the 7 out to Citi Field.

I will miss Shea only for the fact that it was where I saw my first MLB game and I have the record (well it must be one) of seeing 8 of my first MLB games at Shea and never seeing a home run!
