I received a very nice letter from Fulham FC today, telling me how sorry they are about not being able to send out my Kit. They told me if I wanted to cancle the order I could, and they would issue a refund, but that the earliest they would receive the Kits in their warehouse would be August 29th. They told me that I would still receive the Kit before it was available in stores.

It was a real nice letter, and I of course will not be cancleing my Kit, but I can only hope that Ariness is paying through the nose to FFC for the delay as I am sure it will cost the Club some major dollars....

Did anyone hear about the away Kit? Will it be delayed also?

BTW a tip of the cap to the security people in Great Britian for a job will done......

Thanks for the update. I'd also be wary of the sizes. I usually wear an XL international size shirt but I noticed (too late) that the Airness Fulham kits run a bit small. That means I'll probably have to send mine back for a bigger one unfortunately.

Uh-oh... speaking of, has anyone ever heard of Airness? They don't seem to have a website, and most of the other clubs seem to be outfitted by major brands--Nike, Umbro, Adidas etc.
While watching FSC's preview of the EPL season, it looked like Fulham was wearing Puma warmup gear--is Airness a subsidiary of Puma?
Also--I have a 44-inch chest and would like a shirt that fits, well, not exactly tight, but not too loose either. What do you think: XXL?

Airness kit......a month later

I'm glas there was a post about the Airness kit delay.....ever since they were announced as the kit supplier, i looked for the site to see what type of company they are..and no website as tony mentioned...what kinda crap is that???? I noticed the first pre-season match, that puma socks were still being worn, and coaches and staff gear was just (albeit it nice, and i wouldnt mind one!) plain FFC badge on a regular shirt no Airness logo to see....and most sponsors are not out there to not put their name on EVERYTHING for what they are paying for!!!

I know that its not what the team plays in that will make them good, but under the "look sharpe be sharpe" rule of thumb...they may look good in the kits, but will Airness be around to make more......seems kinda fishy going to a little known french outfit, when PUMA is a large, on the same scale as the Nike, Adidas, etc.

I know that this happens and they are human, but i hope this company gets their act together, b/c it makes Fulham look a bit unprepared and not all together :? .....just sounding off.....and very good to U.S. and U.K. forces for stopping the plans in the airways....had a guy that plays at my college delayed on his flight b/c of this...so thankful it was stopped early for everyone out there

lay ter.......

Airness is a French brand and quite popular in the French League 1. All in all, they offered to give us the biggest kit manufacturing sponsorship in our history so thats why we went for them. Their website is currently being redone and relaunched so hang tight.

They are an up and coming brand (much like Puma was in the 80's/90's) but to learn more, this is a great read.

I still like Airness despite the kits being backlogged. I think the product is great and it is a good move for Fulham. Airness will sort it out and get things in order soon.

After seeing the new light blue third kit, I do not like it all that much. ZThe blue does not seem to go well with the Pipex and I am just not a big fan of it. I do like the black away kit and the home white kit though.

Agreed. The color is not my favorite. Red would have been better I think.

Thankfully the regular home and away kits are decent.

That Blue Kit is absolutley brilliant. Red is ugly and a nasty color and last season we looked like Charlton with those ugly kits. Really all 3 kits are great and judging by other teams' kits with Airness this brand is the best in terms of design.

I guess ones likeness of the kit all depends on the particular color, not really what is on it. I personally do not like light blue, thus I do not like the kit. I would rather see a Red kit as I like red better.

With these new blue kits we look like Manchester City. I would rather look like Charlton than Manchester City.

Aaaahhh... well, that makes me feel much better about the kit, then. It seems that Airness is on par, perhaps, with Under Armour a couple of years ago here in the states--a new upstart brand that has gained immense popularity with high-quality merchandise and great marketing.
Phew.
On another note, I like the blue. It's interesting to see that, in the EPL, third-color jerseys are often totally different than the home and away shirts, either in color or design. I've never seen that in any other league, especially jerseys whose primary color is not in the least related to the team's colors.
I do like the black and white shirts, though... now the question is: which one to buy?

I am holding out for a long sleeve black kit. They are sharp.

One other thing....I would rather have light blue than those gaudy yellow kits too many teams are wearing these days. Those are brutal. I know Fulham has worn yellow in the past on occasion, but those kits blow.

Light blue was one of Fulhams original colors so thats why Fulham, in the last few years, has opted for blue as a third kit. Although, last years third kit (black) is one of my all time faves.

Tom, your brothers red/black striped Fulham kit (the old school GMB one) is my fave Fulham one of all time. CLASSIC.

I have to thank one of the Fulham Exiles, Spozzie, for that one. Unfortunately, it does not fit me anymore. It is a great kit though.

Ugggh another delay. I must be cursed because every kit I’ve ordered this year has been delayed.

That is how I feel about the Airness fiasco..meltdown..whatever...having damn JOMA or Atomic kits would have been more professional to deal with....trying to be optimistic, maybe a secret potion will come with the kit to make you have a six pack (beer or abs) when you put on the top!

I hope this isnt a omen for fulham, but to me, a TOP FLIGHT team does not put up with this NONSENSE that Airness is indeed getting away with....all i'm saying is....their better be the ashes of a Airness factory...b/c to have a delay like this can only mean a building burnt down......eh..just was looking forward to the new top to show off to all those that only wear Man U. and Pool gear.....but if the W's keep coming then all this is for not.....just venting after work!

Certainly all of these problems don't make me want to buy anything else from Airness. Maybe they can break the contract next year and go back to Puma.
