Hello from SW6

Hello Americans! I am an American that moved to Fulham in January. I went to four FulhamFC matches last year and started really pulling for the team. Its nice having Carlos and Brian on the team and even better rooting against the ugly Blues (I live close to Fulham Bdwy Station so Chelse game days make me crazy!) I have season tickets in the Riverside stands(Section T, Row L, I wear a Boa Morte kit, say hello if you're near) and saw the team on Saturday v Boavista. Jimmy looks like a great pickup and maybe, JUST MAYBE, the lads can win a couple of away games this year. I'm going to the season opener at Old T, a pitch I've never been to, and am very excited about the Cottagers chances this year... Let's cross our fingers and hope for a top ten finish... GO YOU WHITES!

 

Welcome aboard MartinDavid! How did you find FulhamUSA? Also, what made you move over to London?

You will find a nice group of Fulham supporters here on FulhamUSA.com. A good size group will be coming over in late October to check a few matches out. We will definitely have to meet up then.

Thanks for the welcome Chicago Tom... I was googling for fulham news this morning and found the web site. I ordered a t-shirt (my sister will have to send it over the ocean) and helped out with the Brian Kit sponsership. I moved to London because of work. We put a new office in Hammersmith so I moved to Fulham and discovered the Cottagers by accident. Definitely look me up when you come over. martin.ruble@google.com. I'll buy you a pint and what-not. Let me know if someone needs away tickets as they're easy for a season ticket holder to order. My boss has a ticket too so I can usually offer 4 away tickets for the right people.

Welcome Martin, I'm sure I'll be seeing you this year. My fiance' and I have our Season Tickets in the Hammersmith End, H5, row Z so I'll meet for a pint on the river. I just moved over about 3 weeks ago and am living out in the Surrey Hills.

Glad you found the site and it now seems we have a fairly strong contingent of American Fulham fans living in London. Have you established a pre-match pub yet?

My boss and I go to a pub about 10 minutes north of the cottage on Woodlawn, I forget the name of it now. There are plenty of Fulham supporters there and they serve as a good timing mechanism for when to head down to the pitch. Let me know if your going on the 23rd and I’ll figure out the name and meet you there.

For this weekend, I am crossing my fingers. The addition of Bullard should more than make up for the loss of STEED, and perhaps some of our younger guys will step up in the not-so-friendly confines of Old Trafford. Lets pray for a repeat of 2003!
