Which players do you think are playing with the most heart, grit, and determination? Or maybe it is easier to determine who is not?

My picks, for not showing as much guts as we should expect out of them:

1) John

2) Boa Morte

3) Diop

I don't know if those guys are resting on the fact that they may be a little more skilled, or it just seems that way.

One thing, I am so far impressed with how Cookie is handling his shrinking squad, and in his interviews he seems a bit more fired up so far this year.

 

Collins John worked pretty hard yesterday, I thought

 

Michael Brown played with the most heart yesterday, in my opinion. Seriously, he got in for every tackle and never let up.

 

Bullard plays with a lot of heart and spirit. Routledge also seems to be flying up and down the pitch with fervor. And like Mike said, Brownie seemed to be playing all out from what I could tell of Gentleman Jim's commentary.

 

I agree w/ you Don...MV has always been a favorite of mine and his work rate from what i've been reading and hearing has been sound and shows his wanting to stay in the first team....games like Chelzski make you wonder what havin JB on the pitch would be like....was he able to attend the match yesterday??
