Well, seeing as how I'm stuck at home with the stomach flu, I'm not doing anything (except maybe watchin a movie)

well, despite the fact that there's a buttload of Catholics in both our families, neither HatterMom nor I have any Irish in is.

I do like a drop of Jamisons over ice, and I've been known to drink a Guinness or two when the wind is blowing in the right direction. And, of course, there was a time that -- with a little persuasion -- I used to come out with an Irish folk song or three. However, as a result of the vote of the superdelegates, these days I have to wait until everyone else is out of hearing before I rip into "Wild Rover" or "To Hear the Nightengales' Sing."

In any event, have a great St. Paddy's Day -- national holiday or no.

I'm playing women's league tonight with my Irish colors on! You can bet "my Irish eyes are smiling" still after the B-I-G W-I-N yesterday! Wondering what will happen with Newcastle game going on now. Wish I was on Setanta. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Unfortunately (or fortunately in ianhux case), I don't have a stomach flu so much as an all over flu, going on 3 days now. Sucks.

Still, pass the cornbeef and potatoes, my lovely Irish lass!
