Scratch that last post, as it is not clear yer where Parker is going. Fulham are a now the second team to have a bid accepted for Parker.

Watched quite a bit of Spurs last year following Dempsey & Freidel and I wasn't impressed with Parker at all. His leadership is said to be off the charts, but aside from that, he's redundant to what we have at cm. He's not the creative passer that most of us feel we need. I've seen the fee as low as 2M and as high as 3.5M. At (almost) 33, I really don't see why we'd do that. If we're going for a defensive mid to cover for Sidwell and Boateng (and bypassing the creative cm), then a younger Enoh at 3M would make more sense to me.

It's even more disappointing to see that apparently Hull have nicked Huddlestone and Livermore (the 2nd on loan) for 5M. Hudd is an injury risk, sure, but he sprayed the ball around the park well enough that I came away thinking if we could give him regular football, he'd fill that void we've had in the mf since Murphy decamped for blacker pastures. At 5M and 26 yrs old, that's good business and worth the gamble, especially when you throw in Livermore. Unrelated other than the package aspect, but this one reminded me of when we got Zamora/Pantsil for 6.3M.

No thanks. But there are some twitter reports from some Sky reporters that his signing is imminent at both QPR and Fulham.

If true about Parker, the club should have two words for Levy, the second of which would be "OFF!!" (the first rhymes with "DUCK"). I'm not even sure I'd want him on a free at this point of his career.

Yes, but I think the more worrying part is that Fulham are interested in him at this point in his career.
