Ghana inviting Adu to play for them

    Freddy, yet to be capped on the US senior team but invited to camp, has a decision to make.

    He can switch to Ghana and get playing time in WC 06 or see very limited action on the US team, this time around.

    We'll see how mature the boy is, now... or how much influence his mom still exerts on him.

    She's been a very smart lady, so far, and will say NO!; I'm pretty sure.. she didnt take all those chances just to see him go back a hero.

    Once he plays a senior match for Ghana, he's committed for life, right? At that point, he won't ever be able to play for the US squad...
    Tough choice - to play for a once-every-few-decade WC qualifier in Ghana or play for a perennial qualifier USA...?

    He's been approached before. I would imagine that his intention is to wait for the US, since he could have already played for Ghana.

    Oh great, and I put my application in for the USA-Ghana match. With my luck, he'll sit on the fence long enough so that there are a ton more applications for tickets to this match.

    I think that there will be a good deal of applications to this match because it seems like the lower demand of the three. Just a thought.
