Get a Second Life!

I was wandering through Second Life the other day and thought I would see if FFC were there, thinking we may have more success in the virtual world rather than the real world!
Chelsea are there and so are other teams. I thought it would be cool to have a Second Life FulhamUSA group or site there as well, do you have any plans for this?

We don't have any plans as of yet but I think we should have a FulhamUSA group there. Problem is, don't know where to even start!

I am not quite sure but you or someone needs to join Second Life (SL), its an interesting place. The first level of involvement would be to form a group, which seems simple but has to be paid for in Linden Dollars ( a virtual money linked to real dollars), the create the group and people can join and hang out there. If you want to go to another level, you van build a structure where people (avatars) can meet and chat. What ever, try it out, its fascinating.

What exactly is Second Life and how will it benefit FulhamUSA or FFC?

I imagine anything that can help spread the word of FUSA and FFC can't be a bad thing. Unless a bunch of kiddies get hold of it.

From what I gather, it is kind of like The Sims, but online.

Sorry been away on vacation.
Second life is a really interesting idea and virtual place. Many organizations and universities as well as some cranky places have "islands" or clubs there. There are shops:Amazon, Nike (I think) and even a soccer shop where you can buy football stuff. Chelsea and Liverpool and some other premier sides have groups there as do some foreign teams. Best thing to do is to take a look and wander around ...its fun! www.secondlife.com.
Its free unless you want to build something.
This is just an idea and may have no value, ber fun if some players joined. Maybe we could have a virtual Fulham and win some games
