Fulham have confirmed the signing of teenage striker George Williams from MK Dons.

We're much better signing for the academy than we are the first team unfortunately. It'll be interesting to see how all this academy success translates to the first team 5-10 years down the road.

 

I like this strategy. Since we're signing so many players, it's almost a guarantee that somebody turns out to be world class. Since we're winning the league and such at that level, the coaching must be pretty good as well. This is a long ways away from hoping players like Hammond and Ehui turn out to be good because that's all we had at that level.
