...has anyone heard any news on live game viewing through fctv for the upcoming EPL year?
...wondering if EPL status will affect their broadcasting situation/subscription..but, haven't seen anything on the website regarding it.

I haven't heard anything and I've been looking around for more info too. The only stuff on the Fulham website is old and only references last season, including the options to buy a subscription.

Fulham has broadcast video and GJ/Jamie audio for some of the pre-season matches without requiring an FCTV subscription. I hope they at least go back to offering match audio with GJ for free like when Fulham used to be in the Premier League.

On a related note, does anyone know if NBC Sports is making customers pay for the non-televised matches?

That's certainly less expensive than fulhamfctv... and it's available through multiple streaming devices so I can watch on my TV. I'll hold out to see what Fulham may offer but may (begrudgingly) go with NBC's pass.

If I'm reading it correctly....NBC 's pass will be offering 150 EPL games with a 'minimum' of 4 games per team. So, is that it? Or, are there ways to see 'more' games on NBC via cable...or other provider through cable?

If that's IS it...then we're not comparing apples to oranges (cost-wise) if you can't find a way to see every FFC game via NBC and possibly can via FulhamFCTV (if they are allowed to continue it as last season), right?

One way or another, NBC will broadcast all Premier League matches (I think). The rest that aren't in the $50 package are broadcast on NBC or one of its cable stations like NBC Sports and occasionally some other channels (bad for me since I don't have cable).

EDIT: This article from NBC says they will show "every single second of every single game live". The math seems to indicate that they will at least come close to that. My memory from last season is that about 5 matches per week would be on a TV channel. That comes out to about 190 matches. Add to that the 150 shown online and you get 340 matches which a little short of the 360 matches for the entire season. I would consider 340 a floor, so I think they will show all the matches through TV or online, or at least come close.

During the audio coverage of today's pre-season match against Celta Vigo, Jamie said that live match video would not be available for anyone through FFCTV, including international viewers, due to EPL regulations. So if you want to watch the matches live in the US, you have to go through NBC. They did say they would have live audio, but he didn't go into any details about that offer.

I guess it's Goodbye Jim for me. I can't pay 45pounds for live audio and match replays. I wish it wasn't the case. But as with most businesses, prices increase when necessary but seldom go back or decrease at all when business is good again.
