Fulham with Marsh and Best in 1976

Youve probable all seen this on youtube but I just found it and wanted to share for all those that havent?

This is a 3 minute clip taken from a game in 1976 with the likes of Rodney Marsh and the Great George Best were playing for Fulham, this is when I enjoyed Football and loved watching Marsh and Best...Please enjoy!

Great stuff, thanks Martin. They seemed to play w/joy and not afraid to have a laugh.

 

Proud that two of the best English players ever played for Fulham, although at the end of their carreer. After the great and unique Johnny Haynes, they are the biggest name sto have worn the white shirt.

 

Ask LBno11 about this match...he showed it to me a few years ago and I was amazed at the skill and superb domination of Fulham.

Best part: When Marsh tackles Best just for fun. Classic.

 

Of course you're right mate, I wrote English meaning British.

...well next time one of you guys pops over for a game, get in touch with Mike or I, I will do you a copy of the highlights of the match (20 minutes or so) and the odd bonus. All you have to do in return is copy it and send out to anyone who asks for it. Not sure if it will be compatible with all regions though.

An excellent game that was like an exhibition match along the lines of the Harlem Globetrotters. Best & Marsh are interviewed after the game and there are some other matches from the 1970's tagged on after...
