Nice! Looks like, from reading the match report, Roy had Dempsey playing in Zamora's slot. I've been real curious how Dempsey fits in this year.

Substituted him in for Zamora, I should say.

Hmmm; Davies with a headed goal. Don't remember that from him before. Murphy must be catching!

Starting back four of (it would seem from the players on the field, in any case) Volz, Pantsil, Hughes, Konchesky. That is one I would not like to see once we get into games that matter.

I just hope this currently ability to find the back of the net is not a fluke like last season, especially if our back four are still looking a little weak on paper.

RE: Re: Fulham vs. Ulsan Hyundai

"38 min Fulham may have been behind but they were creating the better opportunities in the final third. Five minutes after the home side scored Eddie Johnson fired over the bar after collecting the ball on Ulsan's penatly spot. Fulham should have been level."

    Why, EJ, why?

Happy to see Volz in there. Would hate to lose him unless all transfer rumors are done and gone... Not sure if he should be a regular but he's a solid contributor. Much better than Baird!

    Your wish is my command.

Great goal by Davies which was a pass from Jimmy. Also, nice take by Gera for the 2nd. Zamora was unlucky twice!

Also, they show a couple of Fulham fans in the crowd after the 2nd. Both are good friends of mine and makes me want football season ASAP.

    Enjoy.

Pretty sweet finish by Davies. Didn't know he could do that!

    Thanks Mike.

    Nice pass by Bullard.

I am also liking the all white look with the shirts and shorts.

I know these are "worthless" friendlies, but it is nice to see an offense and people actually finishing.

That header from Bullard's ball was simply perfect. I could watch that over and over and over and over again.

All right, I am fired up -- only 20 more days until Hull.

And FIFA is right -- we dion't need goal-line replay  Any chance Schwartzer will come clean on what happened last year on the line against Boro?!?

LaxAttack, I like the all white too. Think they'll stick with no names on the back of the jerseys?

So do people think that Gera, Bullard, and Davies are locks to start in the midfield? If so, who's the fourth? Or fifth?

I know it is preseason and I know I have only seen clips but I really like what I have seen from Gera!
