Fulham is looking for their fifth straight win at home tomorrow against Aston Villa. While they will still be without Papa and Steed, if the team plays with the same kind of effort as they showcased against Chelsea yesterday, I think a win is in order.

This is the start of three matches within a week that Fulham needs to do well in. Between two home matches against Villa and Sunderland there is a road trip to Fratton Park to take on Portsmouth on Saturday. A nice run in the next week could make relegation something that is not in the picture for this club.

What are your thought, predictions for this match? I am going with a 1-0 Fulham win tomorrow. McBride as the goal scorer.

I hear we are also with out Crossley and that he had another Hamstring injury against Chelsea. I'm confident that Tony Warner can do the job and we will only beat Villa if the boys pick up where they left off about Chelsea.

This is going to be another tough match since Villa is confident after beating Everton 4-0 yesterday.

I think we can take all three though, 2-1 with another McBride and Helguson Combo.

I'm not good at guessing the score, but I'll say 2-0. More importantly, I think we will dominate the game. Anything less that seven out of the next nine points will be a major disappointment. These are the teams that we have to step on if we're going to escape this "just-a-bit-out-of-the-relegation-zone" morass we've been in for over a year.

I didn't see the Chesea game--how did McBride and HH look together? Should CJ be on the bench (assuming he's healthy neough to consider for the lineup)?

I do think McBride and Heidar looked good together. They caused the Chelsea defense quite a few problems and that is not an easy thing to do. I look forward to seeing these two play a little bit more together.

Collins John came off the bench and did okay. Whether HH starts or CJ starts with McBride, the other needs to be used as a sub for about 25 minutes each match.

    Random thought:

If anyone remembers this game last year. Lee Clark scored his famous last minute goal and ran into the Hammy End and Pablo Angel of Villa had two penalty's saved by Van Der Sar.

I just saw the lineup on football365 live score pages. Crossley is starting now? I thought he was injured. And Goma didn't even make the bench. is he injured, or just being rested?

Crossley, Leacock, Knight, Boca, Rosenior, Christanval, Legwinski, Boa Morte, Radz, McBride, Helguson starting XI as i read it now with CJ, Elrich, Warner, N.Jensen, and Pearce on the bench.

anyways, 2-1 fulham is my prediction. COYWs

That was one of the best Gentleman Jim games I have heard. His father had just recently passed away and Lee Clark fired one home in injury time to equalize. What a match!

Well I do feel a bit dissapointed from the result. If you lead three times in a match, then you should've won it!!

Our defence let us down again but all in all, a point is a point and against a high flying team like Villa, it was obviously deserved since they did fight back 3 times.

Can't wait to see the replay, if Zat Knight is at fault for any of these I'm gonna be mad. Goma and Boca are the future defense!!

Now that I've gotten over the emotion of this rollercoaster match, it must of been hard on Leacock and Liam to deal with such a match after being run ragged by the blue poo down the road. These two have only started the last few matches thus they must not be match fit.

Again, although 3 pts would've been fantastic, its 1 point in the pocket and we MUST concentrate on Portsmouth and Sunderland. They are...ahem...'MUST WINS'.

That was a tough draw. If we can rebound with two wins over Pompey and Sunderland this will be forgotten, but if not, then this game could back to haunt us. The defense has to do better.

I noticed that Kean made the postgame comments, not Coleman. I think CC does that when he's really mad (and probably afraid of what he will say). My guess is that was the case last night.
