Biggest game of the year. Really, this is a must win. We can't sit back and act like we are a bigger club than we used to be and everything will sort itself out. Last year we needed a huge run in the second half of the season to finish in a respectable position. Who here honestly believes we can go on that same run considering we could be juggling 3 competitions? If we don't start to get points then we will go down. We can still save the season and even finish in a European place, but it needs to start at Wigan.

    Sorry about the rant.

So the second highest league finish in Fulham's history is a "respectable position?"

But, yet. We need to stop talking about how many teams in the league aren't as good as us, and show that it it more than talk.

We need to start winning matches, period. Away or home, doesn't matter. Old Trafford or DW or the Cottage, doesn't matter. Fit or hurting, doesn't matter. Just gotta start getting three points every time out.

Usually a point away from home is welcome, but I don't remember a start of a season with this poor of form at the Cottage. Doesn't take a mathematician to know that points will need to be made up away. This team needs to go in with a serious chip on their shoulder and take it to these guys.

    Anybody else missing Simon Davies???

I'm missing mr davies. And an away win would be gravy - to collect a point is solid and I hope for a win - the ghost of last
Fall is still biting ffc's ass

According to the Facebook post by Fulham we are not going to have Aaron Hughes and Senderos will have a fitness test. It would suck to not have both, but I don't mind Baird and Grygera.

We wont have Sa either. Luckily that is an area where we have lots of depth.

Sendoros being a fitness question, imagine that

If both he and Aaron aren't available, fingers crossed that someone on the backline doesn't pick up a knock.

Since this weekend -- and the week that follows it -- is a little crazy for this old geezer, there will NOT be a View From South Texas posted. I'll be listening to GJ at 0900 central, and will check out the FUSA chatroom if anyone is about.

Three points a coming; I'm feeling it.

You out there Terri? We need your chatroom magic to get three tomorrow. Wigan and Martinez need the points as desparately as Fulhalm

3 POINTS!!!!!! Can't comment on the match itself (internet signal went down) after the first half. Shouldn't of been ahead, but we were due to get a break. Glad to be back in that group around 8th and further away from the group near the bottom

3 POINTS AWAY!!!! Wow, I listened to about 3/4 of the 2nd half and it seemed Fulham were not playing the prettiest football, but who cares, this was a huge victory. And GJ almost wet himself when Demebele scored - I'd like to see some video of his goal b/c it was apparently a beautiful strike after good work by Dembele to create it.

    COYW!!!

We stole some points on the road...and I don't feel guilty about it. That was an ugly game, so I won't dwell on it. As Yogi would probably say 3 points is 3 points.

Oh man we needed that. I almost went up there but stayed home for a bit of work that I've been doing on the house. Haven't seen any of the match but looking forward to MOTD and seeing what is was really like. Not that it matters, we got the 3 we needed. Thank you (baby jesus).

YES! FINALLY! It doesn't matter whether pretty or ugly. Good to see Deuce hit the board and great to see Dembele mark the sheet. And another clean sheet for Schwarzer, albeit with a little help from the woodwork and a little luck. About time we got some breaks this season, so I don't feel too bad about that. Springboard for a winning streak? Time to put a stop to the hot Spurs! COYW!

Given how rare wins on the road are for Fulham, it seems odd to say a 2-0 road win was ho-hum, but that's what it was. We scored two against the run of play and looked about the same as we have most weeks, recently. The one difference was some of the breaks went our way and when we did get chances, we finished about 1/2 of them.

Heather's right, we flat out stole this one, and like everyone else I'll take it. MOTM, Schwarzer and his woodwork.
